STIR FRY RICE WITH SPRING ONION AND BROCCOLI

Ingredients 

  • Rice - preferrably basmati rice 1 cup or if you have left over rice that can also be used 
  • Garlic minced 5 cloves
  • 1 small onion 
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper 
  • Spring onion greens
  • Blanched broccoli

Recipe

  1. Boil rice and when about 80 percent done strain the water and let the rice dry completely. Let it cool 
  2. Once cooled brush some oil on the rice 
  3. Take a pan, add a spoon of oil , put in garlic, let it turn light brown, add onion. Let it cook for 2 minutes. Once done add the blanched broccoli.
  4. Then add in the cooked rice, salt, and cook on high flame, Once cooked for 3 to 4 minutes add spring onion and black pepper, mix well and serve with šŸ’œ
       This makes a good rice dish as is or even with some veg or non veg curry.
